TMCR is a not-for-profit, local radio station. Since our first broadcast in 2009 we have delivered a diverse, eclectic and first-class programme of music 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We are run exclusively by volunteers and our DJ roster includes many incredible presenters from the local community and further afield. With our like-minded, passionate music lovers in mind, we have continued to break new ground in our quest to provide top quality radio for our listeners.

Launched at 9.53am on Monday 14th December 2009, by Malcolm Ley, our spectacular breakfast presenter. The first record played was Twist and Shout by The Beatles, because this was the first vinyl record Malcolm bought with his pocket money!
